About the Magazine

BRIDGING
TRAVEL
& MIND

Grace & Lightness was founded by Molly Beauchemin — writer, photographer, culture critic, and former Pitchfork music journalist whose work has reached millions of readers across Condé Nast, National Geographic, PAPER, and MTV. After nearly a decade covering the broadest sweep of culture, Molly turned her lens toward the two topics she believes matter most: exploring the world, and exploring the self.

The magazine was born from a deeply personal place. Molly struggles with anxiety — and she launched Grace & Lightness in response to what she observed as a culture-wide epidemic of chronic stress among her peers. She wanted to build something that helped people cope — through inspired storytelling, practical wellness strategy, and beautifully curated travel.

What sets Grace & Lightness apart is a non-negotiable commitment to authenticity. Molly personally visits every single destination she writes about. This is not a content factory. It is a chronicle of how one exceptionally resourceful woman manages to travel the world, tend to her mental health, and live a grounded, purposeful life — and a genuine invitation for you to do the same.
