Our Clinic
Common Questions
Most patients experience minimal to no discomfort. Acupuncture needles are very fine — much thinner than hypodermic needles. You may feel a slight sensation of pressure, warmth, or a mild tingling at the insertion site, which is often described as a sign that the treatment is working. Many patients find sessions deeply relaxing.
The number of sessions depends on the nature, severity, and duration of your condition. Acute conditions may respond in just a few sessions, while chronic conditions typically require a longer course of treatment. Dr. Wang will discuss a recommended treatment plan during your initial consultation and reassess progress regularly.
Please contact our office directly at (470) 299-8657 or email hwtcm@yahoo.com to discuss fees and insurance coverage. We are committed to making treatment as accessible and affordable as possible.
Your first visit includes a comprehensive consultation where Dr. Wang will review your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals. He will perform a traditional TCM assessment including pulse and tongue diagnosis. Based on this evaluation, he will design a personalized treatment plan and often begin treatment in the same visit.
