Metro Paws Animal Hospital was founded in 2006 by Drs. Jennifer Lavender and Kathryn Sarpong with a simple but powerful conviction: Dallas pet owners deserved more than transactional veterinary visits. They deserved a team that would genuinely know their animals, communicate honestly, and provide care that lasted a lifetime.

Today, our Skillman, Oak Cliff, and White Rock locations serve neighborhoods from Central Dallas and the M Streets to Kessler Park, Bishop Arts, East Dallas, Casa Linda, and Lakewood. Each clinic is staffed by a team that shares the same mission: excellent, compassionate veterinary care built on open communication and unparalleled medical standards.

Your First Visit

Yes. We offer same-day appointments and also accept drop-offs at our locations. If your pet needs urgent attention, call ahead so our team can prepare for your arrival or direct you to the nearest available location.

Our Skillman and Oak Cliff locations are open seven days a week. Oak Cliff is open Monday through Sunday from 8am to 8pm. Skillman is open Saturday 8am–2pm and Sunday 12pm–5pm. White Rock is open Saturday mornings and closed on Sunday.

Yes. Specialized exotic pet care is available at our White Rock and Oak Cliff locations, providing expert exams and treatment planning for non-traditional pets.
