Founders Mark and Dorothy Primack survived a devastating highway bus accident — a collision that took lives, changed theirs forever, and ignited an unshakeable mission. What began as one car and one instructor in Santa Monica grew into one of the Westside's most respected names in driver education. In 2018, Primo acquired Westwood Driving School — a community institution serving LA since 1983. By 2023, UCLA chose Primo as their official training partner for fleet operators and staff.
