Dr. Summers brings a uniquely powerful combination of credentials to every patient interaction. A Board Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) with a Doctorate in Acupuncture specializing in Chinese Herbal Medicine, she also holds a distinguished career as a research chemist in natural product pharmaceutical drug discovery — with patents and publications to her name.

Her clinical experience spans the Mount Sinai Institute for Family Health and Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Her Japanese upbringing instilled a deep appreciation for traditional herbal remedies long before her formal training began.
